The Stud Alpresa is located in the town of Los Barrios (Cadiz), in the South of Andalusia (Spain), on the beautiful estate “Vegas de la Motilla”, where the animals graze.
The Stud Alpresa was born in the year 2001 with the purchase of several Thoroughbred Spanish mares from Miguel Ángel Cárdenas´stud, covered by breeding stallions of the same stud and the breeding stallion Legionary XIX of Candau's origin, all of them of dapple-gray coat.
Later we bought a brown Thoroughbred Spanish breeding stallion of origin Guardiola and several brown Thoroughbred Spanish mares from Aquilino Moya´s stud and others, having achieved the initial goal of producing animals with a good morphology and functionality, as evidenced by the prizes in morpho-functional contests.
